My latest video is a series of time-lapse videos where I’m drawing male nudes from photos on my computer screen. Each drawing happens in a few seconds, but the actual time spent on each drawing was 3 to 4 minutes.
The main purpose of this video is not to show off my drawing skills, but to encourage you to try the same process: drawing lots of quick sketches, one after another, as a way to improve your skills. I’ve recorded a voice-over where I give suggestions on how best to approach this practice and turn it into a regular routine so that your drawing skills get stronger.
