Due to the new UK rules (as of Jan. 2021) requiring US merchants to become agents of the UK and collect VAT charges directly from the customer for any order under £135 (about US$185), we regret that we will no longer be able to accept UK orders for less than that amount.
This doesn’t have to be a problem for you, though, if you are a regular Simonson collector. We are happy to work with you to reserve desired items from time to time and allow an order to grow to the necessary minimum before shipping.
In other words, when you see something you like but which is below the US$185 minimum, simply send us an e-mail with the number and title of the item(s) and ask us to reserve it and either begin an order, or add to one you’ve already begun. When the order has reached the minimum, we’ll let you know and ask you if you’re ready for us to ship. We will keep track of everything for you at this end.
(This system might even have the advantage of saving you money on shipping in the long run!)
So if you’re in the UK, remember that we’re happy to work with you to reserve items and put together a qualifying order over time. Just e-mail us with the items you want.
