Simonson Archives 1993
1993 is the year I moved from my small 20th floor apartment at Fairway House to the 23rd-floor penthouse. The handsome, muscular John G. modeled for me while I was still in the smaller apartment; Darin, a hunky Chinese dancer from Singapore, modeled for me after I’d moved upstairs. Then there was Kalani, who modeled for me in the spectacular interior garden in the home of my friends Billy and Don in Waimanalo. And one of my best friends, Ramses, modeled for me in his apartment near Schofield Barracks in Wahiawa.
