In 1986 I was drawing and painting from a few good friends who were my first real models: Randy E., Jon K., Jerry I., Masey C., and Rich V., along with a few others. Randy was one of my favorite models and starred in quite a few classics like Spooning It and Papaya Juice. Jon K. posed for Chinaman’s Hat. I was just beginning to experiment with a new style I dubbed “Eros Deco” and Bird of Paradise was the first really successful example of that.
