Project 2265: Juan Pablo Painting

Here’s a highlights video from my studio, showing the first painting session on the new Juan Pablo painting. Unlike with the majority of my paintings, I didn’t do a pencil sketch first–just plunged in and mapped out the entire figure just using a warm brown mix and white. Scarier, but definitely more exciting and more rewarding when it works!
