ORIGINAL ART: PORTRAITS
These portraits are about people—faces seen up close, studied over time, and worked through until something real begins to emerge. The subjects are almost always male, part of a long-standing focus in the work. Some images are direct and carefully observed, others more loosely interpreted, but all come out of the same process: looking, adjusting, and staying with the image until it feels fully resolved. Taken together, they reflect an ongoing interest in the individuality of each person and the human presence carried in the face.
