This group of drawings was developed during a sustained period of studio work, in which ideas, poses, and compositions were explored directly on paper. Created through regular drawing sessions, these works record the immediacy of observation and the ongoing search for form.
Some studies lead to later paintings; many stand as resolved works in their own right. Together, they offer a focused view of the artist’s process at this particular moment—direct, unfiltered, and closely tied to the act of looking.
